Come and find us in Leith
Best Friends Club is at 120 Pitt Street, Edinburgh EH6 4DD. We are appointment only, so here is exactly how to get yourself booked in.
How booking works
Three easy steps
Because we are a collective, each artist takes their own bookings. There is no central waiting list, so you go straight to the person whose work you love.
Pick your artist
Have a look through the roster and find the artist whose style suits your idea. Every artist works differently, so this is the important bit.
Message them directly
Get in touch with your chosen artist through their own Instagram or booking page. Tell them your idea, rough size and placement, and any dates that suit.
Confirm your day
Your artist will talk through the design, how they price, and any deposit, then lock in your appointment. Then all that is left is to turn up and enjoy it.

Questions we hear a lot
Do you take walk ins?
We are an appointment only studio, so we do not usually take walk ins. Working by appointment means every booking gets its own dedicated time and a proper chat about your idea. The best thing to do is message your chosen artist to arrange a day.
How do I book with a particular artist?
Head to the artists page, find the person whose work suits your idea, and use the link to their Instagram or booking page. Each artist runs their own diary, so you book directly with them.
Can I get flash instead of a custom design?
Absolutely. Our artists draw sheets of flash that are ready to go, from little pieces to bigger ones. Ask your chosen artist what flash is currently available, or check their booking page.
How old do I need to be?
You must be at least 18 and bring valid photo ID to your appointment. This is a legal requirement for tattooing in Scotland, with no exceptions.
Is there a deposit?
Most artists take a deposit to secure your appointment, which usually comes off the final price. Your artist will explain how their deposits and pricing work when you get in touch.
Is the studio accessible?
Yes. The customer space is on the ground floor with step free, wheelchair accessible access, including the WC. There is free on street parking nearby and bike racks outside. If you have specific access needs, let your artist know when you book.
