A collectively run studio, built to feel like a good friend's front room
Best Friends Club is a collectively run private tattoo studio in Edinburgh. The space is bright and open, the welcome is warm, and the whole idea is that getting tattooed should feel relaxed and genuinely friendly, whoever you are.
Because it is a collective, each resident artist works in their own style and takes their own bookings. So you choose the artist whose work you love, and they look after you from first message to healed tattoo.

What we do
Custom, flash and handpoke, all under one roof
Every artist here has their own voice, from fine linework and dotwork to ornamental, illustrative and folky pieces. Whatever you are after, there is a way to book it.
Custom designs
Bring an idea, a feeling or a reference and your artist will draw something bespoke, made to fit you and your body. Custom work is booked with a chat first so there is time to get it right.
Flash, ready to go
Our artists draw sheets of flash, from little stamps to bigger pieces, ready to be tattooed as they are. A lovely way to get something you love without a long wait.
Freehand handpoke
Handpoke is tattooing by hand, without a machine. It is quiet, gentle and considered, and some of our artists offer it as custom or freehand work.
